The Organising Committee of OTS 2026 invites delegates to submit abstracts for two submission categories —

1) OTS PINNACLE - Best Paper Session

2) OTS - My Best Case Session

Selected submissions will be shortlisted for oral presentation and awarded during the conference at HITEX, Hyderabad.

1. OTS PINNACLE - Best Paper Session

Original scientific papers in Orthopaedic Trauma are invited for competitive presentation. Awards will be presented as follows:

  • Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for the top three papers
  • The Best Paper will additionally receive a one-month OTS International Fellowship
  • 10 Selected Abstracts will be presented in OTS pinnacle Best paper session and selected others will be presented as OTS free paper session.

2. OTS - My Best Case Presentation

Delegates are invited to submit interesting, instructive or challenging clinical cases in Orthopaedic Trauma.

10 Best cases will be allowed to present in the OTS – My Best Case Presentation.

The top three case presentations will be awarded:

3. Categories for Abstract / Case Submission (Orthopaedic Trauma)

Submissions may be made under any one of the following categories:

Upper Limb Trauma
Lower Limb Trauma
Hand Trauma
Foot and Ankle Trauma
Pelvi-acetabular Trauma
Non-union
Malunion
Orthobiologics in Trauma
Neglected Trauma
Open Injuries
Innovations in Orthopaedic Trauma
Miscellaneous

4. Abstract Submission Guidelines

Eligibility

The submitting delegate must be a registered participant of OTS 2026.

Abstracts from unregistered delegates will not be accepted.

Word limit

Maximum 400 words (excluding title, authors and keywords).

Keywords

Exactly six (6) keywords must be provided with each abstract.

4
Authorship

Only one (1) author is permitted per submission — the presenting author.

5
Category

Each submission must be assigned to one of the twelve categories listed in Section 3.

Submission track

Author must indicate whether the submission is for the Best Paper Session or the My Best Case Presentation Session.

5. Recommended Abstract Structure

Best Paper submissions (within the 400-word limit) should follow the structure below:

  1. Introduction / Background
  2. Materials and Methods
  3. Results
  4. Conclusion

My Best Case submissions (within the 400-word limit) should follow the structure below:

  1. Introduction
  2. Case Presentation (history, examination, imaging, Surgery details)
  3. Management
  4. Outcome / Learning Points
